Data controller

Image Translator (imagetranslator.tools) is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. Privacy requests can be sent to support@imagetranslator.tools. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer; for GDPR purposes contact the email above.

Information we process

User-provided information. Account details (name, email and an encrypted password), payment and credit records (amounts, status, order numbers — we do not store full card numbers), uploaded source images, target language choices, generated translated images, and support communications.

Automatically collected information. IP address, device and browser information, timezone, page views, feature usage, operation and error logs, and request times.

We use this information to provide the service, prevent abuse, process payments, provide support and send service-necessary notices. We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

• Cloudflare provides hosting, the D1 database and private R2 storage.
• APIMart receives a time-limited source image URL and the translation instruction to run GPT Image 2.
• Waffo Pancake processes checkout and acts as Merchant of Record where shown. Card payment data is processed exclusively by Waffo Pancake in accordance with PCI-DSS standards and is never stored on our servers.
• Resend or Cloudflare may deliver transactional email.
• Google processes sign-in data when you choose Google authentication.

Each provider receives only the information needed to perform its role and is bound by appropriate agreements. We do not use your uploads to train our own models.

Image retention and deletion

Source and translated images are stored privately. They remain until you delete the associated task, delete your account, or request deletion from support. Deleting a task removes its result and removes the source when no other retained task references it. Account deletion removes all associated source and result images before the account records are deleted.

Data retention

• Transaction records: retained for 7 years to comply with tax and accounting obligations, then deleted.
• Support records: retained for 2 years after the last contact.
• Security and operation logs: retained for 12 months.
• Account records: retained for 90 days after account termination, then deleted (except where law requires longer retention).

Sharing and security

We do not sell personal information. We share only what is needed with the providers described above, with legal or regulatory authorities when required, or with your explicit consent. Access to task records and private files is authenticated and limited to the account owner and authorized administrators. Transport is encrypted with TLS/HTTPS and sensitive data is hashed or encrypted at rest. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you within 72 hours of discovery where required by law.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to know, access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal information, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may exercise these rights by emailing support@imagetranslator.tools; we respond within 30 calendar days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

In your account you can review and delete translation tasks, update account details, cancel subscriptions and delete your account after canceling an active subscription.

Marketing

We send marketing email only with your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any marketing email or by contacting support. Opting out of marketing does not affect service-necessary notices such as billing and security messages.

International transfers

Your information may be processed by service providers located outside your country of residence. Where required, transfers are protected by standard contractual clauses or other recognized safeguards.

Children's privacy

The service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Policy changes

We may update this policy from time to time. For material changes we will notify you by email at least 15 days before the change takes effect. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.
